What is vendor file validation?
Vendor file validation is the practice of checking files, feeds, or extracts from outside suppliers before they are loaded into your internal systems. VendorGate automates this by comparing every incoming feed against a published contract.
What is included in the free tier?
The free tier includes one active pipeline, one active contract, one active standardizer profile, and one API health monitor endpoint. It is free forever and does not require a credit card.
Can VendorGate validate sources other than files?
Yes. VendorGate can validate CSV, Excel, JSON, and XML files, as well as REST API feeds and database queries. After normalization, the same contract engine validates every source.
What happens when a file fails validation?
Failed files are quarantined and alerts are sent to your configured recipients. Files that trigger warnings can be held in a review queue for manual approval. Clean files are delivered to their production destination.
Is my data secure with VendorGate?
Yes. Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, all transport uses TLS 1.3, and every run is scoped to your account with a complete audit trail.
